Chindogus...

Hey guys! Sorry its been a while. last week we had the Lunar New Year in the UC. I had my presentation but from what I heard the girls did AWESOME!

SO anyway on to this week...

A chindogu is an "unuseless" product. Something that has a use/purpose BUT you wouldn't be caught dead wearing/using these products...SO we made some for my Marketing Problems class. A few of my classmates and I presented our chidogus in our class Tuesday night. Here are some of them...

So that is Josh with his "ForkSticks" to improve your eating abilities when using chopsticks. I am next to him with my "Driving Bib" so that when you multi-task and drive (I can't do this but there are people who do -.-)you won't make a mess of the clothes you are wearing. Sydney made the "Purse Diaper" so that when you put your purse on the ground it doesn't get dirty. I loved that one :D Purses are like the dirtiest things women own! And Amanda made a hat that has glasses attached so that your glasses don't get in the way of your hat. :D All in all it was a pretty fun project and all the presentations were pretty funny.

Had a photoshoot Monday for the Party With a Plan campaign on campus :D that was pretty fun...will keep you updated hehe

Is it straight Hula or Hula Hooping?

Well this week a lot has happened! First of all, some of my Hula girls performed at Greeley West High School for their Ethnic Fest. We had a good time, here is a picture of us dancing.

(Tini, Caity, Sarah, and Me!)

Next week we have a performance for the Lunar New Year Celebration in the UC. Sadly I can't perform because I have to give a presentation simultaneously in my Business to Business Marketing class :( BUT it is going to be a great time, there is going to be good food and of course a bunch of performances. The hula club is really going to try hard to promote our Luau. I am really proud of my girls though, we have tons of new girls who have never danced before and they are doing well and eager to perform. I appreciate their patience with me haha I have been kinda grouchy about their arms and hands...but they are getting so much better with every practice! If you get the chance, come see them perform at the Lunar New Year celebration in the UC Monday, February 15th at 5pm! Tickets are on sale now! GO!!!

So aside from practicing all of our shinanigans for Hula, I feel like this week I had tons of stuff due in class, but now that the week is almost over I feel a bit accomplished. Next week Tuesday I have the ETS which is the exit exam for the business majors. I am a bit nervous about that! But I am sure it will go well...

Lastly, on Wednesday I found out that I am going to be the new face of the Party with a Plan Campaign. I am pretty stoked about it because I do firmly believe in taking care of yourself and being responsible when it comes to doing college type...err...experiences? Haha...anyway I think it is going to be really cool :D Now I just have to decide...do I want to incorporate Hula into the picture...or my car...UGH DECISIONS!!

ps...I got an email that asked this question this week hehehe now I wish I could hula hoop...no joke...I am a Hula Dancer who can't Hula Hoop to save my life!

From Birthdays to Resumes to Motorcross...

So this past week was insane. On Wednesday it was my Bf's 22 b-day, our boss at got him a cake :D.

We went to an Eagle's game at the Budweiser event center (they put a new John Cooper Works Mini on the ice during a break hehe it was cool) and then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to meet up with some friends. The whole place was empty it was insane but we had a good time so all was good.

This week we also had our fair share of crazy morning drives. We have been having this annoying fog that sticks around and leaves ice all over your windshield and then after you scrape it all off you still can't see where you are going because the fog is so thick. What amazes me is that people still drive like crazy people! Here is one of those mornings, you can't see anything at all!!

The entire week I spent time trying to figure out my resume. It is a total pain I tell you. I really have to speak with an advisor because my resume needs a bit of fine tuning. I also found out that I have 2 tests in the next week. Which is wonderful, I can't believe this semester is already blowing by. Also, I decided that I wanted to fly my Mom out for the Luau, April 10th. So she will be up for the weekend and then come back a month later for Graduation with my Dad YAY!

On Saturday we had planned to go to the Mammoth Lacrosse game in Denver with one of my bf's friends. Instead here is what happened. His friend Sterling is a pro motorcross racer dude. SO he just got sponsered by Yamaha and was given a new bike. So in order to get the new bike he had to race Saturday down in Denver. SO he called us up and we were like WOOO lets go! and so we went. Here is a little video just for you! This is Sterling Engelhard, a fellow MCB student racing his new Yamaha in Denver.

Tonight begins the final season of lost...its just too bad I have class :(
