WELL! School has been out for about a week and a weekend, yup technical terms there shhh I'm on break!. I have to take an Interim Course (Oceanography) because I did a grad check the Tuesday of Finals Week and found out that -,- I need 5 more credits of "Non-Business" Electives in order to graduate...LAME! So I decided a 3 Credit class over the Interim will be easy enough, better get it done! SO I am in Hawaii with my Family sitting on my computer doing Oceanography work HAHA, I figured if I just keep my internal clock on Colorado time then I can just wake up early and do it then! Smart plan? I think so! Except now when my friends want to go out I have to force myself through the tired droopy sleep eyes, but its all gooood :D

My Dad got some Taro, you know, the stuff you make Poi out of! SO we are going to attempt to make some. I will be taking pictures to share! Also Obama is flying in to Hawaii TODAY so there is a lot of action in the air around here...kinda takes away from Paradise -.- Stupid Jets -.-
All of my finals went really well which is super exciting and a good feeling to have while flying away for vacation :D This whole week was pretty insane though...we had more snow and more COLD than anyone could really want...it was freezing! I was just happy that I didn't have to walk out to my car for an early final at 7:30am when it was like -10 outside!! SO here is a rundown of the weeks events...BESIDES just the finals haha
Monday: I had one SUPER awesome final in my E-Marketing class. It was amazing, the Professor made it enjoyable, I definitely appreciated that! After the final however was the fun part...The Boyfriend has this group for his Database Management class, they are really cool people...anywho we went to Old Chicagos to celebrate, everyone got a calzone except me haha I like them Chicken Strips!! After we stuffed our faces in celebration one of Brian's (that would be the Boyfriend...) friends Sterling thought it would be fun to utilize the empty neighboring K-Mart parking lot for snow time fun! SO we did and it was awesome...I have a video...We are in the Mini Cooper and his friend is in the old Ford truck...and yes the one laughing with pure glee is me :D
Tuesday: Nada Wednesday: Sat on the couch looking at my books with sadness... Thursday: Worst day of the week! 2 tests and one party type period. The party was for my Advertising Class. It was cool just had to bring my own coffee which was cool except it was so cold that by the time I parked at Kepner my coffee was no longer hot :( Then I had a 126 question final that I thought would never end, then I had a meeting for my Ad Campaigns class next semester (I am super excited about it!!). After all that fun, which ran late by the way, I had to rush over to a shop to get Nitrogen in my tires so that they wouldn't lose pressure in the cold because that was really freakin me out! Lastly I had a online final which wasn't too bad but I think all in all Thursday definitely gave me some stress! I am so glad its over!
Now its Friday. Tonight I fly to Ohio which is going to be a fun little weekend with my Boyfriend's older brother and sister. I also have to get started on my Interim session class, Oceanography, which should be fun. I will definitely be letting you know about that one :D
GoldFire did it!! We got second place and scored $1300 for our group from Wells Fargo!! We are so excited!! This project was such a cool experience. I definitely am glad I chose to be a Marketing Major :D next semester I have an Ad Campaigns class which should be really fun as well. Can't wait! Until then I have 2 more projects to do and then its just finals and done. Sooooo excited to be close to finished with this semester.
Well guys Thanksgiving break just ended and since I wasn't staying where I thought I was I had no internet connection...which means my blog didn't get done till now :( bummer...ANYWAY heres the lowdown on my situation at the moment...
1. Played 2 rounds of golf over break in AZ. Wasn't so bad considering I haven't played in a year or maybe even more. First round scored a 117 HAHA better than a 135 which was my last tournament score from High School (I got stung by a bee...I'm sticking with that story :D and the Golf Course was REALLY hard...). The good news is that the second round I scored a 109 :D YAY 8 stroke improvement!! AND I got on the green in 1 for one of the holes haha AMAZING...Here is a picture 2. Had a super powered golf cart...it was just cool...had too much fun...yeah...and it had its own garage hahah :D here's a pic of its cute little house 3. Got some In-N-Out...yum...had a double double animal style and animal fries. Of course I could eat the whole thing when I built up an appetite knocking doors BUT when you get In-N-Out just because you can...well lets just say you can only eat a disappointingly small amount of food...got through about 3/4 of the burger before I needed to stop...had like 3 fries...it was so sad...but it looked pretty so I got a picture of it :D So that was it for the break...but now is the week before finals, which means EVERYTHING is due pretty much. Monday, Goldfire Marketing Group (hehe) found out that we got a pretty AWESOME grade on our marketing plan for Wells Fargo...Tomorrow is the big day when we find out who wins the scholarships!!! We are super excited!! Wish me luck!
I am so relieved that my Wells Fargo project for Advertising and Promotions is finished today. The Presentation has been made to the representatives from Wells Fargo, now all that is left is for our group, GoldFire Marketing Group, to win that scholarship!
Now perfecting this presentation meant long hours this week. Last night Ian and I had to redo our ads to in order for them to print large enough for us to pass out. This meant sitting in the UC lab and learning how to use Photoshop since Adobe Fireworks wasn't available. We got there at around midnight and didn't finish till almost 2am. Our other group mate Bill came but since we were too busy figuring that program out we didn't get to practice. SO pretty much Bill's time was wasted and Ian and I spent 2 hours screaming at a Mac. In the end though they came out beautifully, for a second time :D Here are the pictures. I am so proud haha!
Anyway I plan on sleeping in Saturday till around 2pm so if I don't answer my phone that is why :D Please don't bother me I will be near comatose!
Alright so in this past week a lot has been going on. Tests and projects, so much stuff to do, I was so tired by Friday that the circles under my eyes were at a whole new level of purple. One of my group members for Advertising class even commented about it, that's how you know its bad! :D Its okay though I had a good Friday night adventure. I went to find a Good Times burgers place, which was in Windsor, but got lost..sort of. Then went to my friend Nick's place and watched one of my favorite shows "Top Gear" from the UK. It was a lot of fun!
Okay SO funny things that happened to me this week...pretty much got caught being silly...mostly its just funny
I work at night and pretty much scan files all night when all the other workers go home. My boss is nice enough to allow me to watch dvds on my computer, listen to music, do sudoku, etc. As long as the work gets done. SO I was enjoying myself singing along to some 311 songs real loud just scanning and singing haha yeah it was a good time. All of a sudden I hear a scuffling behind me and it started to freak me out slowly so I turned my head slowly and I see the security guard peeking his head around the corner. Oh man I jumped! Turns out he was standing there listening to me belt out off key for a while haha he didn't even say anything just walked through my room then through the office and back out my room again and kinda chuckled a "have a good night." Yeah...I didn't start singing again for a few minutes...

Well I was lucky to be able to go to the SEMA show in Vegas this year. I left on Wednesday night and got back Friday night at midnight. We stayed in this SERIOUSLY cool room at the Signature at MGM Grand...definitely staying there again :D ANYWHOOO the SEMA show was seriously cool, there were tons of amazing cars and exhibits! The weird thing was that it was actually smaller than it has been in the past, and it was still huge. So on a side note my feet have never been more sore in my life! Legs hips, shoulders, toes haha so so very sore. It was definitely worth it though!
On the school front, I got into the Ad Campaigns class! I am so excited! I have been wanting to take this class for a while now and I am finally eligible as a senior. So I found out I got in on Wednesday, I am so stoked for next semester! Today I went to work with the Marketing club at our concession stand at the last Football game of the season! It was fun, way better than last time...we weren't freezing this time! We raised a lot of money for Fill Monfort's Hat which is a fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research. That was way cool...there was another source of excitement as well...After the big helicopter craziness, which was surprising no doubt, we saw John Elway...yeah no joke! People were going insane lol! Alright so today every other school in Colorado was closed except UNC. Okay so that probably is not true but it sure felt like it. Anyway we have been having some ridiculous snow for the last few days and although it seemed crazy to drive anywhere, we did have school today. Most of my friends had classes canceled but not me. Its alright though I did have a pretty rad mini snowball fight in the Kepner parking lot with a friend of mine! Anyway...so as you can tell there was a significant amount of snow. Also, I am from Hawaii. I just bought my first car EVER this past summer. I haven’t ever driven in the snow like ever, yes I am too scared. I am also scared of hurt my poor little car in any way haha! So therefore I decided to let her sit in her happy little parking spot. Unfortunately for me this means that I now have a foot and a half (just about) of snow piled on my poor vehicle. You can’t even really tell what it is. SO as someone who has never played in the snow before I wanted to do something with this huge mound of snow! SOOO I got the genius plan to give my car…WAIT FOR IT…DRUMROLL PLEASEEEEE!!...
